Army Jouvert 2010 ジュベ２０１０年トリニダードカーニバル

I played Jouvert Mas with the Army – yes, the Trinidad & Tobago Army! (I have a full explanation of Jouvert in a previous post in this blog for your information). They are probably the safest Jouvert band to play with. Everyone gathered at the Army Barracks on Long Circular Rd in the St. James district of Port-of-Spain at 4AM on Carnival Monday (February 16th). Marching, wining (moving your hips to the music) and drinking in our clean, green t-shirts to the heavy beats of Soca led to mud-slinging and more drinking as daybreak approached! FUN FUN FUN!!
