[FASHION] Afro Fanatic AFFA™

Afro Fanatic (AFFA™) is a Kenyan fashion house with its operational base in Nairobi. It specialises in edgy afro-centric apparel and accessories for both men and women. As its name alludes, AFFA™ is a brand that is extremely enthused about Africa and its potential. It aims to portray the beauty, authenticity, and positivity of Africa to the world through fashion.

It began as a fashion blog in April of 2011 and officially launched its first collection in October of the same year (http://afrofanatic.com/blog/?p=379). The designs were well received and since then it has maintained a steadily increasing and satisfied client base.

In August 2012 it achieved yet another milestone when it showcased its second collection dubbed Sheer Madness at the Africa Fashion Week in London ( http://africafashionweeklondon.com/africafashionweek/afro-fanatic/). Again, this collection was well-received and got coverage in a host of fashion blogs magazines dailies and many others.

Ziki O., the designer at the helm of AFFA™, is at her peak as an artist. She fuses colour, culture and globally trending concepts to create funky / off-beat / expressive clothes for hip city dwellers. She has transformed her passion for arty, gutsy creativity into a fully fledged fashion company.
