Japanese Tourists Rated the BEST in the World!
Since I’ve been living in Japan I’ve been asking clients and friends what they know about beautiful T&T. Most people remember the match between The Soca Warriors (T&T) and Sweden in World Cup 2006. Generally, when Japanese people think about the Caribbean, they think of Jamaica. One of my main reasons for writing this blog is to bring more attention to travel to the country that is part of my heritage.
According to Expedia’s First Annual Global Best Tourist Survey (2008), Japanese travellers are the best behaved, most generous and tidiest. In a report from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Peru (2009), Japanese tourists topped the list for daily spending at $168USD. Similarly, the OECD wrote in their National Policy Review of Japan that “…based on the data of 1999 by WTO, Japan was the 10th largest country in terms of sending international travellers (16.4 million) overseas.”
