Sarina explains the show’s concept, “This month marks the second installment of my “CookALong” series where a prominent Caribbean personality follows one of my recipes, and sometimes throws in a few of their own 🙂 This week my guest cook is Petra Laptiste! This Grenadian-Trinidadian Canadian blogger first came to my attention years ago as a result of her work promoting Caribbean culture in Japan. She now runs Carifrique.com, an online site that shares music plus promotes events cooking classes and all-inclusive tours to and from Japan, USA, Canada, and the Caribbean.
Petra will be making my recipe for Trinidad Macaroni Pie as well as her own takes on Trinidad Callaloo and Stewed Pigeon Peas. ”
