Thanks – Trinidad Carnival Tokyo – Photos by Joy Fajardo

お客様へ有り難うございました。

I would like to thank all 200 guests who showed their support and had an enjoyable time at 57 FIFTY SEVEN on Saturday, October 23rd, 2010 for Trinidad Carnival Tokyo. Thank you all for sharing this historical event. It was the first ever trip to Japan for Trinidadian singer, Ronnie McIntosh, and the biggest Trinidad & Tobago event ever witnessed in Japan.
Pan Village‘s Yuuki Murakami and friends started off the evening with soulful steel pan tunes. DJs C.C.B. and DJ E SMOOVE kept the crowd dancing to Soca, Calypso and Chutney all night. Legendary Calypso singer, Ronnie McIntosh, got the audience pumped with some of his greatest hits such as Ent? and How It Go Look
The finale of the evening was the Ronnie & Caro The Mas Band fashion show featuring stunning Carnival costumes themed SURVIVORS.
A very special thank you to Ms. Kiva Clarke, Second Secretary of the High Commission of the Republic of Trinidad & Tobago (New Delhi, India), for making an official visit to Japan for this event.

Thank you to the assistants, models and staff at 57 FIFTY SEVEN for making this a truly positive event which ran smoothly. Further support was given by ENTokyo, J:CARIB and Fashion Japan.
Photographs by Joy Fajardo are posted on the TokyoTrinbago Facebook group (click the TokyoTrinbago logo in the left-hand column).
