Trinidad and Tobago Carnival Fete In Japan
It’s that time again for the entire Caribbean Diaspora in Japan to walk, ride, fly or shinkansen to Osaka, Japan for the annual Carnival Fete (Party) Part Two!
Paul Hadden, a Trinidad and Tobago national who resides in Japan, created this one-of-a-kind party in 2013 to give his compatriots, Caribbean neighbours and party-goers of all backgrounds, a taste of back home.
What?
A Trinidad and Tobago Carnival Party (Fete)
For those of you who came last year you know what’s up! It’s going to be a high energy, Caribbean style party so please come help us to celebrate the ultimate Trini festival. If you don’t know what to expect at a Trini fete (party) then please watch the video down below ↓↓↓
When?
Carnival Friday – February 28th, 2014 from 10:00 PM
We are doing this the same time that Carnival will be celebrated back in the islands so the energy will be HIGH.
Who?
YOU (hopefully) and any cool friends you want to invite who would like to experience a true Caribbean party. Trust me, it was a whole lot of fun last year so you don’t want to miss out 😉
Why?
Because it’s fun, it’s liberating, and feteing is the ultimate therapy. Come with high energy and an open mind because this is going to be totally different to anything you’ve ever experienced. We guarantee it!
What to wear?
Carnival is all about costumes so feel free to glam yourself up as much as possible. Feathers, beads, gemstones, glitter. Also, feel free to bring a flag to represent your country and wave in the air. If you watch some videos of Carnival parties you’ll understand why you’ll need a flag 🙂
How much?
1000 YEN to cover which comes with a drink!
